Hey all, has anyone evr used one of those laptop cooling devices that take air away from the bottom of the laptop? I'm talking about like a targus chill mat. I'm probably gonna buy one just wanted to see if anyone has used one.
I've never hard of them. How do they work and where can you get them from?
You can find them anywhere, from walmart staples circcuitcity is another place, they're about twenty bucks. I just wanted to know if people had sued them.
I've had friends who have bought them, and measured the temperatures of the computer before and after installing them. From hat I understand, they really don't work all that well, and they also take up precious USB space to run the fan.
It depends on the computer. Some notebooks run very hot, and need something else to cool them down. However, most laptops are just fine with the fans they have, and therefore don't need anything extra.
